Sr Software Engineer II - (Omaha, NE)

Job summary: Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer I to support its Omaha based programs Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS), the Program utilizes Java, Java two Enterprise Edition (J2EE), and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies to provide Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions to government and commercial customers. Assignments include the following: Participate in the full development life-cycle for software engineering programs including design of software components, developing code, updating technical documents, generating test plans, ensuring code meets qualifications through unit testing, and resolving discrepancy reports. Develop technical designs and specifications for software products. Research and integrate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
