Position details Daily tasks can vary substantially, but general functions include: Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents Keeping track of attorney time records and billing Filing legal documents Transcribing dictations Corresponding with clients Maintaining calendars General filing Position responsibilities will include: Must possess excellent management skills Demonstrate proficiency in data management software Willingness to learn Maintain professional interaction with clients Possess strong written and verbal skills Be familiar with certain court procedures Be proficient typists – 60+ wpm Work flexible scheduling and manage their time well Must work well with teammates and general office staff Meet deadlinesEDUCATION:A min of high-school degree and five years background are a must.
