Purchasing Manager Responsible for sourcing all corporate purchases and managing vendors. Perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, analyze and prioritize needs, negotiate favorable terms and find costeffective suppliers.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing internal controls including controls for approval of purchase orders; ensure purchasing activities are conducted in compliance with all company policies and legal qualifications. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and complete purchases with optimal terms. Perform cost analysis and benchmarking. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers; lead sourcing activities such as RFP's. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirement documentation. Review and evaluate supplier performance with the input of end users.
