Insurance Company - Chief Financial Officer - (New York, NY)

Provide managerial oversight for all Financial and Accounting activities and report company's annual and strategic progress to leadership staff and Board of Directors. *** Lead treasury related activities such as: capital raising; debt or equity management; cash management; and treasury investment. *** Control flow of cash and maintain integrity of funds, securities, and other documents. *** Produce periodic financial reports & statements (in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards) and enhance accuracy of company's reported financial results. *** Create annual budget, forecasts, and calculate variances from budget. *** Develop, monitor, and document chart of accounts, set of transaction controls, policies, & procedures. *** Ensure accounts are paid and applicable discounts are taken on accounts payables. *** Manage accounts receivable, make prompt collections, process payroll, and complete periodic bank reconciliations. *** Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
