Senior Financial Analyst - Insurance Company - (Warren, NJ)

Perform recurring financial analyses of business segment profitability, consolidate annual and quarterly planning and forecasting processes, and execute other financial projects. *** Analyze expenses, identify coding errors, and obtain corrections prior to month end close. *** Assist with preparation and consolidation of annual financial plans including volume forecasts, operating budgets, and capital plans. *** Compile quarterly segment info for ten Q and ten K reporting qualifications. *** Conduct due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions. *** Support Return on Equity, Return on Investment, and similar evaluations. *** Review capital expenditure requests to ensure adequate documentation and justification. *** Utilize Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle E Business Suite to gather competitive business insights. *** Stay abreast of capital markets and financial instrument trends as related to insurance and reinsurance products.
