Research Associate - Protein Biochemistry - (Willow Grove, PA)

Lead stability and formulation-related projects supporting biophysical characterization of insulin analogs and formulations using full spectrum of protein analytical methods including ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, circular dichroism, mass spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, multiangle light scattering, analytical ultracentrifugation, etc. Shall: *** Formulate proteins and other samples for use in various experiments and assays. *** Quantitate insulin formulations and protein in solution using analytical reverse-phase High Performance or Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography. *** Conduct spectroscopic, conformational, and chemical stability analysis of insulin analogs. *** Perform Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization and Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectroscopy and other analyses to identify degradation products. *** Troubleshoot equipment and assay problems.
