Technical Service Chemist - Epoxy & Other Thermoset Systems - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Plan, organize, and carry out technical service activities related to specialty resins, reactive modifiers, and elastomeric additives & accelerators for epoxy and other thermoset systems. *** Identify and source formulation, testing, and application methods for adhesives, coatings, composites, and sealants. *** Analyze function and benefits of products in specific applications. *** Investigate and address product nonconformance issues. *** Ensure test methods comply with American Society for Test Materials, International Organization for Standardization, Deutsches Institut fur Normung (German Institute for Standardization), and similar standards. *** Develop technical info used to inform customers, sales agents, and distributors. *** Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to research and evaluate new and competitive technologies.
