Source gene applicants from publicly available sequence databases, GenBank, RefSeq, ENSEMBL, and similar genomic databases. *** Involves testing and analyzing heterologous, evolved, and codon optimized genes for expertise to encode proteins catalyzing critical enzymatic steps. *** Extract, curate, and manage genomic data using SQL, BioPerl, R, Bioconductor, and relational databases.
