Bioinformatics Scientist - Next Generation Sequencing Technolog - (Northbrook, IL)

Develop and apply computational methods to analyze Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data related to Diabetes, Neuroscience, Oncology, and similar. *** Support data analysis of RNASeq, DNASeq, ChIPSeq, and other NGS technologies to deliver clinically testable hypotheses based on systematic analyses of clinical and pre-clinical data. *** Analyze large scale genomic data utilizing NGS platforms such as Illumina, Complete Genomics, 454, and similar. *** Utilize publicly and commercially available bioinformatics tools and databases. *** Develop and implement solutions for data access and visualization using scripting languages such as R, Perl, and similar. *** Assist with implementation of high performance cluster computing queuing systems such as Sun Grid Engine, Condor, and similar.
