Synthetic Chemist - Epoxies & Resins - (Dublin, OH)

Provide technical leadership to synthesize new products and customer solutions in lab and scale-up to full production quantities, as well as solving production problems of current products. Activities: *** Develop new products through synthesis of amidoamines, imidazolines, vegetable oils and fatty acids, Epoxy Curing Agents, Epoxy Resins, and Diluents. *** Design and conduct complex laboratory trials, and perform troubleshooting and process optimization activities. *** Develop test methods and modify testing and validation methods as appropriate. *** Direct toll and piloting efforts. *** Support scale up for new products and volume from lab bench to full production. *** Support plant processes, existing product line, and existing chemical processes. *** Perform in-process quality control activities. *** Ensure integrity and reliability of instrumentation through routine upkeep and interfacing with 3rd party service contractors.
