Quality Engineer - $80K Automotive Aluminum Die casting & Machining - A global automotive components manufacturer is looking for a Quality Engineer to support their aluminum casting and machining facility. The Quality Engineer will work with customers, suppliers and other internal engineers to determine dimensional, physical and functional characteristics of new parts, and to continuously work to improve production processes. The Quality Engineer will be the primary customer contact for the assigned product lines. A 4-year degree from an accredited university is required along with at least five years of automotive quality engineering background. Applicants must have background in a TS16949 environment and be able to lead APQP, PPAP and FMEA activities. A solid history of customer and supplier development is required.
