Embedded Software Tester Job - (Stratford, CT)

Trillium Technical, a leader in the staffing industry is currently seeking an Embedded Software Tester! Duties and Responsibilities: * Test outside of the specification and under abnormal use conditions - try to "break" the system * Document and report defects, bugs, or opportunities to improve the system relative to specifications * Write test scripts to automate tests and results * Maintain an organized work space comprised of touch screens, embedded PCB's, relay drivers, actuators, sensors, serial communications, wireless communications, cloud data interaction, and instrumentation * Receive software from software engineers and program it into embedded systems * Read and understand a product specification for the purpose of testing embedded systems and write the steps for testing it.
