Quality Control Lab Technician - Ole Smoky Distillery - (Sevierville, TN)

Primarily responsible for the testing and inspecting of raw materials, work in process and finished goods, while also checking for specified colors and/or textures to ensure compliance with internal and external workplace standards. Manage all laboratory supplies, instruments and equipment to provide efficient and accurate output to meet internal and external standards. Help develop, implement and maintain lab policies and procedures, while also maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices Perform regular preventative lab maintenance as needed Sample and test critical raw materials, work in process and finished goods. Analyze results and compare with established standards for acceptance standards. Generate reports on QC testing for review by management. Assist R&D and QA with new product preparation Report results that do not meet internal and external specifications to Quality management. Assist with the tracking of defects, test results and/or other regularly reported quality control data.
