Job DescriptionHello, Please let me know if you would be interested in this role for Linux/VMWare Administrator in Sunnyvale, CA The main function of this role is day-to-day operation support of hardware and OS/applications on Linux and VMware platforms.Responsibilities:Day to day ticket resolution and server support for REIT-related project work.Knowledge of RHEL 5.x and AIX (AIX is nice to have but not mandatory) VMWare v5.5Must have VSAN background. The applicant must be able to configure, deploy, and support VSAN.Knowledge of Dell servers and IBM P-Series.Knowledge of IBM PowerVM (LPAR).Knowledge of EMC VNX and Brocade fiber switches.Knowledge of Fiber networks and cabling.Able to deploy Linux VMsAble to troubleshoot RHEL and AIX system failures.Familiar with Sendmail, and email troubleshooting.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware VSphere Suite, VMware View, VMware vCloud Director
