Position overview GENERAL SUMMARY: Install and support computers, applications, servers, network systems, and related technology. Support includes installation, repair and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The employee in this position is also responsible for the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment. The position’s responsibilities require independent analysis, communication and issue solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES: · Responsible for the installation, maintenance and documentation of company workstations and peripherals, both on-site and remote including but not limited to, operating systems, application software, and hardware.
