If so, let’s talk!Our client is actively seeking a talented Microwave Design Engineer to work at their location in Yorktown Heights, NY.Position details:We seek a highly self-motivated and creative individual with background in microwave design and modeling. This position involves supporting a large R& D group on projects involving non-linear superconducting circuits and supporting hardware in the DC – ten GHz range. Prior background in superconducting circuits is not expected, however a thorough understanding and intuition of electromagnetism and microwaves are required.Required responsibilities:Simulate novel passive microwave structures and ultra-high-quality resonators, optimizing for reduced parasitic resonancesDesign and model low noise amplifiers and matching networksDesign and simulate microwave launch structuresRequirements:BS in Electrical Engineering / Physics5 years microwave/RF engineeringExperience with HFSS
