Contract Specialist III -TS Job - (Washington, DC)

Required Active Clearance: Top Secret Min Background: 2-5 yrs in Federal Contracting Min Requirements: Knowledge of procurement regulations, procedures, and techniques in order to perform recurring and developmental contracting assignments. Background in drafting contracts including standard clauses and special provisions; recommending award and necessary documentation to support award; assisting with negotiations or conducting noncomplex negotiations; analyzing bids or proposals for responsiveness, assisting with monitoring the contractor's performance; and reviewing contract files for completeness and closure. Background in conducting both pre-award and post-award activities in federal contracting. Cradle to grave background with federal contracting.
