This devoted Surgical Step Down Unit is constantly working to expand program initiatives and provide innovative solutions in order to improve the success of the department and the longterm success of its patients. The Transitional Care Nurse Manager will play a key role in continuing this environment of progressive and focused care and join an exciting time in the evolution of the department, which is currently opening more beds in the 25-bed unit and experimenting with hourly rounding of patients to increase satisfaction and outcomes.
