Network Engineer - (Charlotte, NC)

Moore & Van Allen PLLC is a prominent business and litigation law firm with 3 offices in the Carolinas. This full-time position, located in our Charlotte, NC office, with our Details Services team, monitors all servers and network devices for normal operation. Performs periodic maintenance on all systems. Responsible for data and operating system backups & patching. Responsible for specific project assignments. Provides assistance as needed to Applications Group and End-Users. Stays up to date on latest technologies, troubleshooting techniques and products. Successful applicant will possess a high-school diploma or equivalent, a Bachelor's degree preferred, with 4+ years of background in LAN administration, monitoring and/or troubleshooting. An upper-level system certification (CCNA, VCP etc.) is preferred. Must also have in depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server PC and server hardware and Microsoft SQL database servers. Cisco, SAN, and Vmware background a plus.
