Assistant General Counsel - (Columbus, OH)

This position can be filled at the AGC or Senior Counsel level depending on the skill set and background of the selected applicant. The position will provide legal advice and guidance on Nationwide Advisory Solutions (NAS) operations issues and will assist with annuity and life product development, state and federal filings and annuity product updates for NAS. Will handle operation referrals which include: claims/contestable claims/pending death claims, complaints/dispute resolution/pre-litigation matters; regulatory inquiries/DOI complaints/MCEs/LRCU; Form Committee/letter review; formal projects/risk assessments/priviledged investigations. This position will also be responsible for assisting with product development activity for NAS (fixed indexed annuities, fixed annuities, deferred income annuities, immediate annuities).
