Area Manager - Pyro Department - (Theodore, AL)

PURPOSE Responsible for coordinating, monitoring and supervising the activities of assigned area. Communicates goals to employees and ensures that goals are achieved. Maximizes employee participation to achieve the desired team approach. Develops area personnel to enhance skills, improve responsiveness and promote business growth. CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. * Visible leader and unwavering support for LafargeHolcim's safety, health, and environmental policies. * A key senior member of plant staff/leadership team whose assignments include helping determine improvement opportunities and setting achievable goals for the site while simultaneously leading efforts towards these goals and improvements on a department area level. * Responsible for coordinated approach to preparing all employees within process area to safely operate and maintain a large Greenfield cement plant.
