Job DescriptionSoftware Quality Engineer IIThe Software Quality Engineer II is responsible for verifying that the software released meets client requirements and is of the upmost quality. This position has no direct reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze root cause of issues reported from user acceptance testingConduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environmentsCreate test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, or proceduresLeverage automated test scripts for test executionAbility to update and maintain automated test scripts highly preferred Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readinessDevelop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error and defect retests
