Quality Engineer Co-op/Intern - (Poughkeepsie, NY)

Position overview This role will support the Quality Engineering mission for IBM High End Server Fulfillment Engineering operations. Applicant will join a dedicated team of Engineers to drive, yield and performance for our z Systems products and assembly processes. They will be expected to be involved and provide support with the following but not limited activities: - Driving quality improvements, initiatives, projects - Address and close yield issues from our assembly operations - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new predictive quality monitoring tools - Participate in Failure Analysis activities and help drive corrective and preventative actions implementation - Perform quality audits - Review and approve Engineering documentationIndividual should possess the following traits: Leadership; Team member; Passion for learning/intellectual curiosity; Creativity; Flexibility; Organizational; and be a forward thinker/change maker.
