We are seeking a QA Assistant for our Alexandria, VA manufacturing facility.General DescriptionThe QA Assistant performs at the direction of the QA Manager and is responsible for maintaining all QA programs to include quality, sampling, performing shelf life studies, testing, BRC support, regulatory compliance, HAACP, assist with kosher, and other duties as assigned. The applicant must have strong attention to detail, expertise to multi-task, perform basic mathematics calculations, and cross-train with QA Manager to assist during vacation time, absences, plant quality audits, and reports.Assignments include but not limited to:· Conduct shelf life studies to verify conformance of product specifications and document results. Establishes and assures adherence to set product specifications and standards of finished product.
