Cad Technician - (Modesto, CA)

CAD Technician - Position overview With minimal supervision and guidance, the CAD Technician is responsible for creating Facility location maps, equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, update existing drawings to as-builts, evacuation maps, etc. Must be able to identify existing equipment in a food production facility. Must be proficient in AutoCAD or Inventor. Responsibilities and Duties Proficient technical skills in windows based software, AutoCAD, Inventor, Microsoft word and Microsoft excel for developing spreadsheet. Good management skills. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology. Mechanical aptitude with expertise to complete basic mathematical calculations. Requirements and Skills Associate degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or, six to twelve months related experience and/or training or, equivalent combination of education and background in the Food and Beverage or manufacturing field.
