Under general supervision, plans and coordinates the activities of the plumbing work force in the repair, inspection, maintenance, and installation of commercial and residential plumbing and gas systems, and related components. Provides guidance and assistance to plumbing personnel in diagnosing problems, determining the extent of repairs required, materials needed, and methods necessary to complete repairs. Prepares manpower, materials, and equipment estimates to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Reviews incoming maintenance requests and completed work orders. Performs related duties as required. Incumbent is considered emergency service personnel.Note: Position may be subject to overtime, on-call, and weekend rotation.
