Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with Security Clearance - (Falls Church, VA)

POSITION: Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO), ManpowerGroup Public Sector (MGPS) REPORTS TO: Facility Security Officer PURPOSE OF POSITION: The AFSO for MGPS is responsible for processing security approvals for several Federal Government contracts. The AFSO will ensure that security clearance processing for candidates meets the governmentâ??s high standard of quality while also meeting their aggressive deadlines. This position mandates a proactive self-starter who can hold a clear and detail-oriented focus, quickly learn and follow processes and procedures, and maintain teamwork communication with program managers and government clients. Target Salary: 60K-65K Annual Key Duties: COMPLIANCE ï?§ Ensures security-related compliance with government contract qualifications and procedures, such as personnel, IT and industrial. ï?§ Obtains and maintains specific Public Trust clearance criteria and associated procedures required by various Federal Government agencies.
