POSITION SUMMARY: Leidos' Advanced Solutions Group is seeking Junior Software Engineers in Dayton, OH or Charlottesville, VA to help build and maintain our live streaming video applications for analysts. Our team works with a variety of languages (C++, Java, Javascript, Python) and technologies (Docker, Puppet, NiFi, etc). Gain background while working on challenging problems to help us achieve our vision: sub-2nd latency for live video delivery and playback in both desktop and browser-based clients, with pluggable, horizontally scalable backend components supporting ingest, variable bit rates, and analyst workflows.
