Position summary: CGI Federal is looking for a Web Software Developer to support the Combined Arms Center (CAC) in support of preparing the Army and its leaders for war. Leadership development, lessons learned, training and support are the key focus of CAC operations at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Your future duties and responsibilities: Web Software Developer â?? Senior. Description: Under general direction, designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code such as HTML, CGI and JavaScript for a component of the website. Works with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept interface design and architecture of the website. Responsible for implementation and integrates web application with backend databases. Deploys web-based transaction systems using application servers. Researches, tests, builds and coordinates the integration of new products per projection and client requirements. Requires strong navigation and sit-design instincts.
