Hourly Laboratory Tech - (Chesterfield, VA)

Assist the Principal Investigator in performing experimental procedures and lab support, in order to meet the specific aims of the current funded project that sponsors the position. This includes performance of biochemical, molecular genetic and bioinformatics experiments in support of ongoing sponsored research, as well as general laboratory maintenance: maintain cultures and cell lines, oversee general laboratory organization and preparation of shared reagents, maintain stocks of laboratory supplies, keep equipment in order and functional.
