An exciting locum tenens urgent care nurse practitioner opportunity is now available in Connecticut. The clinic hours are from eight a.m. to eight p.m. on the weekdays, and from nine a.m. to five p.m. on the weekends. You will see an average of 30 to 40 patients per day. You will do suturing, splinting, I&Ds, and foreign body removal. You may see occupational medicine, but you don't need to be DOT certified, although it is a plus. Assistance with hospital privileges will be provided by Weatherby.
