Biologist II - (Worcester, MA)

Job overview This position is Non Exempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Bachelors Degree in general biology with a focus in a specific discipline (i.e. cell biology, microbiology, molecular biology). Some background in that discipline 2-4 yrs preferred. Familiarity with GMP and GLP and good documentation skills. Comment: Start date asap. The position is located in the Cell Culture group of the Manufacturing Sciences department at client. Our group supports the biologics being manufactured here by executing small scale (3L) studies to both characterize and optimize the processes, mainly late stage clinical trials or commercial. The chosen applicant will be required to work 40 hours per week (with occasional weekends) to help with both general lab and project-specific work â media preparation, experimental set-up, bioreactor sampling, feed additions, bioreactor harvest, preliminary data review and analysis, etc. This position would run for 6 mons from the start date with potential to extend.
