Research Investigaor II - (New Brunswick, NJ)

The position involves a mixture of laboratory science and experimentation, modeling, data analysis, and process documentation. The group has significant effort in developing new methodologies for process development incorporating statistically designed high-throughput experimentation, and data-analysis and model development using machine learning and data visualization. A successful applicant has a strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, laboratory and/or pilot-plant background, and strong collaboration skills. Previous background with preparative chromatography will be highly advantageous. The individual works well with people from other disciplines and thrives in a multifunctional team environment. Although computer skills are essential, the individual also readily deals with project management issues. A high-level of energy and strong work ethic is critical to success.
