Postdoctoral Research Associate, High Energy Experiment - (Chicago, IL)

The Princeton University Quick paced Experiment group has immediate openings for 2 postdoctoral or more senior research associates to work on the CMS experiment. Successful applicants will be expected to participate in the Princeton group's work on luminosity measurement, outer tracker operations, hadronic calorimeter operations and/or upgrade work in calorimetry, fast timing, or the outer tracker. Applicants will also carry out physics data analysis on a topic of mutual interest to the applicant and the Princeton group. Applicants must have a Ph.D., preferably in particle physics and a record that demonstrates the expertise to operate independently in a research environment. The initial appointment will be for 1 year, with the possibility of an extension contingent on satisfactory performance.
