Through science, policy, and partnerships, CI is helping build a healthier, more prosperous and more productive planet.--?---- JOB DESCRIPTION: The Associate Scientist in the Freshwater Science program is responsible for managing and working on research projects and/or serving as a technical resource to help implement Conservation International----??s (CI----??s) mission of empowering societies to sustainably care for nature for the well-being of humanity. Specifically, s/he will focus on issues of ecohydrology and landscape ecology, assessing and integrating values for prioritization and decision making. The Associate Scientist will manage implementation of the Freshwater Health Index in Latin America, working with an internal team and external collaborators from universities, research institutes, and other stakeholder groups.
