Software Development Manager (Javascript) - (Ann Arbor, MI)

Role: The Cloud Platforms: Core Development team develops software to automate and manage the infrastructure and services leveraged by TD Ameritrade business applications. This includes providing shared services such as authorization, logging, and application configuration management; application SDLC tools and workflows to manage the process from qualifications to development to testing and deployment; and automation and inventory to provision the infrastructure itself. The Software engineering Manager role is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of developers within Core Development. Initially this team will extend the current Core Development Agile team, but may be operated as a 2nd Agile team within Core Development. The Manager will be expected to be hands-on and take on software engineering tasks with an ideal ratio of 50% management, 50% development. This role reports to a Director or Senior Manager of Core Development.
