The Utilization Review Nurse will do the following: Verify medical necessity utilizing Milliman criteria Make patient recommendations for inpatient stay or observation Trained and working remote from home with flexible working schedule during normal business hours Drafting up approval and denial letters to provider or physician Reaching out to providers for additional clinical info if needed to make decision Completing 15+ inpatient reviews per dayMinimum Requirements Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois 3-5yrs
