We are an independently owned, fast-paced, high-quality, two doctor small animal hospital in North Scottsdale(Thompson Peak Parkway and Pima Rd). We are seeking a hard-working, Veterinary technician/Assistant with good work ethics and a positive attitude, strong communication expertise, expertise to work well with others, personable with clients, and to be an outstanding representative of our business. The successful candidate should be proficient in basic computer skills, including, but not limited to dog and cat restraint, TPRs and taking histories. Additional position qualifications are the expertise to multitask, stand for long periods of time, follow directions, a comfort level working with dogs and cats, and physical strength to lift and carry large dogs (50 lbs) alone. It is preferred that the successful candidate have at least 1 yr of background in small animal practice. Having your own pets does not qualify you for this position.
