Job overview:Key responsibilities fall into the following categories: Perform month-end closing activities for complex transactions (ie. Journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations) within the time frame determined by management. Assist with implementation of inventory accounting systems and inventory control procedures, including testing and documenting installations and upgrades. Ensure SOX compliance with assigned responsibilities. Perform monthly and quarterly analysis of Intellectual Property (IP) royalties paid to vendors for technology used in set top boxes (STB) manufactured for Dish and related entities. Prepare Quarterly reports to be submitted to vendors for payment for IP royalties. Identify and recommend potential close and process efficiencies. Assist with implementation of inventory accounting systems and inventory control procedures, including testing and documenting installations and upgrades.
