Job summary:The Tax Associate Accountant will have the following key responsibilities: Monitor indirect tax engines and billing systems for Purchasing Company Research, troubleshoot, and resolve subscriber tax billing issues in a timely manner Reviews and processes customer exemption certificates Gather and verify property tax data for Personal Property tax audits and provide support for audit and refund process Identify and implement improvements in efficiencies across the indirect tax department Other duties as assigned Skills - Background and Qualifications A successful Tax Associate Accountant will have the following: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent background; or combination of education and background. Background working in a fast-paced office environment. Applicant should have background working with large amounts of data and excellent management expertise. Background with Vertex tax solutions is a plus. Intermediate to advanced Excel and beginner MS Access skills.
