Engineering: Electrical Engineer - Poway, California - (Poway, CA)

Candidate must be able to apply theory and principles of electrical engineering to modify, develop, and test practical applications of power and energy equipment under direction of licensed engineering staff. Duties will include but are not limited to assisting senior level staff with the following: Advanced load calculations to determine utility master plan qualifications for campus power distribution. Distribution panel sizing and circuiting for power distribution layouts within buildings. Candidate must apply knowledge of short circuit calculations and determination of equipment rating. Lighting photometric studies to determine footcandle levels and max to minimum ratios for light level quality. Transformer sizing and layout Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering. 2+ years design/project experience EIT required, PE beneficial. Proficiency in Auto CAD and Revit. Involvement with IEEE or PES is a plus Some knowledge of the NEC Experience with Healthcare and Instructional facilities a plus.
