Volunteer Coordinator - Clearwater Branch - (Clearwater, FL)

SHIFT: Varies This position supports and coordinates the Ys volunteerism work at the branch through recruiting, placing, and tracking volunteers. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA, poses effective communication expertise, and have the ability to use typical business software and office equipment. RATE OF PAY: $10.83/hr + possible incentives POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Coordinator will be responsible for the over all coordination of an activity within 1 function or department. Must be able to work well with and possible direct the work of others. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND BACKGROUND: The Function Coordinator must possess the competence and confidence to administer the effective and quality coordination of the function. They must be responsible and at least eighteen years of age. They must have the ability to cooperate and work with YMCA staff to provide a quality program or product.
