Accounting Supervisor - (Monterey, CA)

The Accounting Supervisor provides financial leadership to the hotel and is in charge of the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Accounting Department. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll and will create and carry out policies and procedures accordingly. In addition, this individual will investigate and solve any discrepancies in the general ledger reconciliation, financial statements, audits, disputed fees from guests, and charge backs. Assignments include interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, and appraising performance of the Accounting Clerk. This individual will review reports for payroll accuracy, accounts receivables, end of the month reports for the Corporate Office and the General Manager, and other reports as necessary.
