Clinical Research Coordinator - (Chicago, IL)

Research Coordinator GI Associates & Endoscopy Center seeks to add a Research Coordinator to their Research team. The Research Coordinator is responsible for performing diverse clinical and administrative responsibilities requiring analysis, sound judgment, and a high-level of knowledge of specific study protocols, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) guidelines, and FDA regulations. This position is coordinates and manages clinical study activities during a study protocol. Assignments include, but are not limited to: Patient Care Ensures that each potential patient meets inclusion criteria for study and that it is in Patient's best interest to participate in study. Thoroughly educates patient of purpose of study, duration, and what is expected of patient. Coordinates appointment scheduling for internal and external appointments; sends patient for biopsy for any study-related procedures. Administers informed consent to patient.
