New Product Development Engineer - (Akron, OH)

New Product Development Engineer-Medical Devices Responsible for executing the technical design and development aspects of new product development for medical devices (and other selected products). In addition to New Product Development, the person in this role acts as a technical resource to the organization including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Sourcing, Global Marketing, Customer Service, QA, Regulatory, Compliance and when appropriate, directly to customers. These assignments include (but are not limited to) participation in/leadership of the following types of project teams: New product development, planning, and implementation Product design changes such as product improvement or line extensions Product testing and validation Sourcing/second sourcing of materials and finished products Customer complaint investigations
