E-2C/D Weapon System Operator/Flight Test Engineer (Aircrew) - (Annapolis, MD)

This position supports VX-20 developmental test and evaluation at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD. The selected candidate will assist in the process of NAWCAD flight test planning and execution. The selected candidate is expected to be able to help with the development of test plans, pre-flight planning, weapon system operator duties during test missions and drafting post-flight reports.Education/Background: A Bachelor s degree with a min of 8 (8) years of work background is required. An engineering/technical degree is desired. E-2D background and 1 year RDT&E flight background is desired. A graduate of 1 of the following is also a plus: U. S. Naval Test Pilot School, U. S. Air Force Test Pilot School, Empire Test Pilot School or EPNER Test Pilot School.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A min of 1000 hours in Navy aircraft and 500 hours in E-2C/D is required.
