General Liability and Medical Malpractice ParalegalThe applicant will involve support for matters of general liability cases. Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents. Communications with clients, witnesses and court personnel. Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other discovery materials in complex medical malpractice cases. Trial preparation, including electronic presentation. Assist attorneys at trial, coordinate witnesses and manage trial exhibits. Manage electronic databases associated with e-discovery. Assist with document productions. Assist with retention and facilitate medical record reviews with expert witnesses. Must have Paralegal certificate and/or college diploma. Should have 5+ years of litigation/medical malpractice background. Nursing or medical background is a plus. Background with review and organization of medical records is required. Trial background is a plus. Superior technical skills, using Microsoft office and Case Notebook is must.
