Senior Accountant - (Concord, CA)

Responsibilities * Perform regular and recurring accounting functions requiring professional competency * Generate, review, analyze, and communicate financial data that reflects actual financial performance against approved budgets * Establish appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions, and reporting * Analyze complex accounting transactions * Audit items in order to calculate costs * Maintain general ledger and close books monthly * Prepare and assist with cash management, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, accruals, and reconciliations * Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for projects, clients, or business units, monthly and as needed * Ensure books and financials are in accordance with GAAP or other required accounting standards * Review fixed asset ledgers to ensure items are properly capitalized and depreciated * Provide assistance with audit ledgers and assist in providing info for outside audits * Research and analyze complex
