Laboratory Technician - (Charlotte, NC)

This position is a support position for the Silica Products group Quality Assurance laboratory for US production. The job involves following work instructions to perform analytical measurements on the raw materials and products from the production unit. The Technician must be self-motivated and able to respond to deviations in the daily work schedule. The Technician must work well in a team environment together with the Production, Technology, and Sales and Marketing functions. The Technician must also develop good working relationships with all levels of the Business (internal and externally with any supplier contacts). The routine laboratory tests perform include titrations, pH, alkalinity, trace metals analysis, particle sizing, viscosity, conductivity, solids, and specific gravity as examples. **NOTE** This position will be moving locations in April 2018.
