Project Engineer II - Public Works - (Prince Frederick, MD)

Job overview Benefits Supplemental Questions Merit Full time Position, Grade 27, 35 hours per week. Performs civil engineering and/or architectural work in plan review and in the development of capital projects for the public works department. The work involves review of plans that are subject to County review and management of the design and construction of capital projects as assigned. Work is complex and may involve numerous calculations in disciplines such as in storm water management or other technical ability. Employees in this class may be required to serve on a variety of special projects related to County engineering or architectural issues. The work requires training in civil engineering or architecture and/or considerable prior background. The worker in this class provides technical supervision. Essential Job Functions/Other Duties/KSA: Performs subdivision and site plan reviews checking roads, storm drains, bridges, storm water management, grading and traffic patterns.
